INTEGRATIONS

ServiceNow

ServiceNow is a cloud-based ITSM platform that offers a wide range of IT service management functionalities, including incident management, service request management, change management, and IT asset management.

ServiceNow integration overview

Fischer’s ServiceNow connector delivers access management, password management, and identity lifecycle management capabilities, allowing organizations to seamlessly integrate ServiceNow into their Fischer Identity solution. Administrators can configure ServiceNow as a connected system to bring identity users into the platform, manage account enablement or disablement, reset passwords, expire passwords immediately, and validate users. These features ensure secure and efficient user account management within ServiceNow.

On the identity lifecycle management side, the connector extends automation across a broad range of ServiceNow objects, including users, groups, roles, incidents, tasks, catalog tasks, requests, request items, request item variables, and approvals. It supports full lifecycle operations—export, create, modify, delete, and trigger events—enabling real-time synchronization between Fischer and ServiceNow. With robust event-driven processing, the connector links request data formats and triggers across both systems, ensuring that requests are processed in ServiceNow while provisioning is managed in Fischer. This integration unifies IT service workflows with identity governance, enhancing efficiency, security, and user experience.
